Tales from the Darkside: Wraparound: A boy spins three tales of horror for a modern day witch who plans to cook him for dinner. Lot 249: A young man has a strange box brought to his dorm room. The box is marked with the shipping number Lot 249. Inside is an ancient egyptian mummy and the young man has the means to raise the mummy from the dead and to control it. The Cat from Hell: An eccentric old millionare hires a hitman to kill a cat. When the hitman questions the job the old man tells him of the grusome murders which were conected with the cat. the hitman laughs. But he won't be laughing for long because the old man isn't as crazy as he appears and this is no ordenary cat. Lovers vow: 2 men leave a bar late one night only to be attacked by a gargoyle come to life. It kills one man and tells the other that it will let him live as long as he never tells another living soul what he saw. the man runs away and in the process drags a young woman into the entry way of a building wanting to protect her from the monster. 3 years later the man and woman are married and have 2 children. On thier wedding day they vowed to tell each other everything that has happened to them and the man has told everything except for one thing: his friends death at the hands of the gargoyle. He decides to keep his lovers vow and tell his wife about it. But what will happen when he does?
