Will Dack has told the internet about their last day in Dublin together and now Joy has a reputation for being an insane baby-stealer, and at home… well her roommate's a clairvoyant so she can basically never go home.

She sneaks out of the caravan early in the morning and convinces Maeve to join her for a surprise adventure, leaving an unsuspecting Stan behind. While everyone she knows tries desperately to get her on the phone, she and Maeve escape to Wales on the daytrip of their teenaged dreams, where Joy chucks her phone off the ferry. When they end up stranded in Wales for the night, Maeve freaks out before suggesting they get tattoos and shots. Then they go dancing! Joy and Maeve have the time of their lives soaking up the culture in a Welsh nightclub where Joy gets into her first bar brawl.

The next morning Maeve gets emotional when they say goodbye, even though it'll only be for like literally seven days, and a phoneless Joy returns to home to face the music. At the last minute she makes a detour to Trish's house instead and spends the night.
