Hagane no renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist): Ross, accused of Hughes' assassination, is placed under military police custody and interrogated. After reading a newspaper article about Ross' detention, Barry the Chopper leaves the safehouse and launches a solo raid on the jail. Barry releases Lin from jail as well after the he promises that he would help him and also Ross. Barry tells Ross that she needs to leave Central immediately, or risk being killed. Ed and Al run into the trio, and Barry holds the brothers off to allow Ross time to get away. Ross then runs into Mustang, who seemingly kills her in a massive explosion. Edward later accosts Mustang after seeing Ross' charred body while Mustang coldly reminds Ed of his place as a soldier of the Amestrian military. Major Armstrong later shows up at the Elrics' hotel room and declares that Ed "needs" to return back to Resembool to have his automail arm fixed, and drags the confused Ed away.
