Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer are in Yorkshire, where more space is key to their house-hunters. Kirstie's with active couple and NHS workers Emily and Joe, whose rental agreement is coming to an end, and they're having trouble finding a perfect first home which is big enough for all their belongings. Kirstie needs to act fast to find them a place which has the potential to become more than just a starter home. Two properties catch their eyes, so they have to be quick in deciding which suits them best; and Kirstie has to be even quicker to try to secure one. Meanwhile, Phil's search for space is even more pressing - he's with a family-of-five who are sleeping between two bedrooms in a home that's bursting at the seams. Suki, Kuli, and their three young daughters are currently squashed into a three-bedroom house, and with home worker Kuli using one bedroom as a home office, the pressure's on Phil to find them a bigger house. It must be roomy enough to host family and friends, have good outside space, and not be too far from where they currently live. It's a tight brief, but Phil manages to find a contender. It's then down to Suki and Kuli to decide if this could be the home that finally brings their quest for space to an end.
