The new series continues, as we catch up with house-hunters who bought their perfect place abroad. Laura Hamilton catches up with Gilly and Jane at their holiday home in the Dordogne that they bought back in 2016. Known as the land of a thousand chateaux, the Dordogne boasts hundreds of vineyards and charming traditional towns and villages, enlivened with no fewer than 30 festivals a year. Armed with £100k, Gilly and Jane's search got off to a slow start, but they were eventually blown away by the blue shutters they craved on a traditional stone cottage. Seven years on, Laura's back to see what they've done to the place, before they all go on a brocante treasure hunt! Meanwhile, Leah Charles-King returns to Islantilla in southern Spain, to see how Steve and Carrie are getting on at the sunny home that they bought in 2021.
