The Tribe: Jack fishes for food and continues his hike back to the city. Luke is locked up, leaving Ellie worried about his future. Lex accidentally reveals himself as the person that played a mean trick on May. Bray suggests that Amber should be the one to decide Luke's fate, but she has her reservations. Salene slowly tries to shake off the brainwashing that was done on her by the Chosen. Alice continues avoiding Ned. Tai-San is angry at Lex for what he had done to May. Ned and Lex get drunk together. Bray announces to the city folk that the Guardian isn't fit to stand trial, leaving Moz angry, but Ebony saves the day by announcing that Luke will be put in the Guardian's place instead. Lex apologizes to Tai-San. She isn't sure if they are still married. Amber decides to be the judge at the trial anyway, with Ebony taking the role of the prosecutor and Luke defending himself. Pride tries to talk to May, but she is too hurt to listen. At the trial, Luke pleads guilty but ends up being set free to live with the consequences of his actions. Moz is furious over the ruling. Ellie happily hugs Luke after the trial, just as Jack walks into the Mall.
