Holby City: Secrets and lies abound in Holby City this week. Tension mounts between Owen and Mubbs in theatre—Owen's bitter and confused about Mubbs' recent accusation and takes his frustration out on him. Mubbs further arouses his suspicions when he tries to backtrack out of the revelation and seems nervous. Throughout the course of the day, Owen becomes more paranoid when he sees Chrissie and Ed talking. Sean blackmails Sandy and she resorts to stealing from the locker room but Danny catches her in the act. She explains the situation and Danny tells her she's probably been caught on camera. He sneakily manages to hide the evidence before Chrissie gets her hands on it. Jess, meanwhile, is enjoying giving Ric a guilt trip about her cheap and pokey accommodation. Ric decides it's time to face up to his responsibilities as a parent. When an old colleague offers him the chance to go private and earn more money, he accepts, despite his principles.
