Kurokami The Animation: Keita kicks Kuro out of his apartment after she tells him some things that he doesn't want to hear about his mother's death. But soon Keita feels guilty, and he goes after her with some food. As they sit down in a park to eat Kuro is attacked again. This time by a strange man with seemingly magical abilities. Again Keita tries to intervene, but this time he is very seriously wounded. Kuro escapes with the dying Keita, and realizes that there is only one way to save him. Kuro must form a contract with him. As such she exchanges their hearts (literally). No sooner is this done, than the strange enemy returns. Kuro is able to defeat him by utilising the power of her new contract. The next day, Keita wakes up in his apartment and finds Kuro on the living room floor.
