As a human. Finding him attractive, Youko feels embarassed after the way she treated him as a rat. They go to meet with King En. Enki describes to Youko and Rakushun how Keiki is being held against his will with a fake queen of Kei. The plead with her to rescue Keiki and take her thrown of Kei. Back in the town Heki is explaining to Sugimoto about how a kirin chooses the ruler for a kingdom. Sugimoto is angry and says she was supposed to be chosen for queen.. Heki disagrees and tells her that a true ruler would never say such a thing. Back in the palace King En tells Youko he believes in her and thinks she can become a queen. As they are walking back to their room, Youko seems confused on what she really wants to do. One of King En's servants says he will tell Youko about King En and Enki's story about how they are both taikas...
