Packed to the Rafters: Dave's mother Rachel engineers an electrical fault ruse to get him to come and see her. She tells him that his father died very young and that she was hospitalised in a psych unit and that was the reason she gave him up. He invites her to dinner with the family and whilst she charms the rest of the family Dave isn't impressed particularly when he finds out that she travelled a lot whilst he was growing up. Meanwhile, Rachel brings Jake to the launch of 'Rampant' where she has also booked a suite for their first romantic night together. Jake overdresses in a dinner suit but he saves the day when a problem with the sound system calls for his assistance and which brings him into contact with the launch director. The following day Rachel has an huge argument with Jake's mother Grace and which ends with Jake and Rachel calling it quits for a while.
