Helen Frost, the wife of a major hospital benefactor, is admitted, and when Ric suspects she may be HIV-positive, her husband becomes very rude and hostile towards the hospital staff, including Tom Campbell-Gore. It later transpires that Helen's Husband Jim Frost had aquired HIV and passed on the infection to his wife.
