As DS Ramani De Costa investigates the domestic violence aspect of the case, the husband's involvement in an actual murder is revealed. DI Manson is delighted with the result, but DS De Costa is upset when Manson usurps her CSU authority. PCs Gary Best and Tony Stamp trawl internet chat rooms looking for 'Hotpants', a suspected fraudster who has ripped off a number of "her" on-line admirers.
