The rest of the mob who ganged on Takuma joined in. Ai's assistance can't prevent her death, but receives a smile from Ai. Takuma tells the mob to stop but Ai dies, holding his hand saying "It's over." and her body turns into sakura petals then floats away. The Lord Of Hell releases her parents' soul. All charges against Takuma have been dropped. His father had woken up and Hotaru is safe and treated in the hospital. In the end, a young girl is shown receiving a text message from Hell Girl(who is probably Kikuri) saying that her request has been accepted.
