Aftersun - Watch Legally and Safely
Aftersun
Jim and Sue married young and 20 years later find themselves on holiday in Spain - an anniversary present from their children - with very little to say to each other. Jim can’t bear to be separated from his mobile and his business; and while Sue wants to relax with a chick-lit novel, Jim’s idea of fun is immersing himself in a heavyweight historical biography. On discovering that their pool is shared with the adjacent villa, they do all they can to keep themselves to themselves, but the glamorous young couple next door soon bring a new perspective to Jim and Sue’s relationship. Felipe has just asked Esther to marry him and their apparently blossoming relationship throws Jim and Sue’s into stark relief. They frolic by the pool, sing songs to each other and are young love personified. Jim and Sue’s holiday, meanwhile, goes from bad to worse when Sue falls asleep in the sun and suffers severe sunburn. Locked out of the sun in their villa, Sue and Felipe soon start to confide in each other and she discovers that his relationship with Esther may not be love’s young dream after all. And while Jim is initially impressed with the young and beautiful Esther, he soon discovers that her cooking and singing leave a lot to be desired!
How to Watch Aftersun Legally and Safely
If you want to stream Aftersun through reputable and legal services, there are a few good options depending on where you are. Subscription platforms like HBO Max, Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+ sometimes carry Aftersun films or related DC titles—though availability depends on your country.
If you’d rather not commit to a subscription, there are ad‑supported, free (but legal) platforms such as Tubi, Pluto TV, Peacock or Crackle (where available in your region) that occasionally host superhero films.
Lastly, don’t forget about library‑linked streaming options like Kanopy or Hoopla (if your library or university is registered), and official uploads by film distributors on YouTube—these can also give you legal access to classic movies.
