Killer Barbys - Watch Legally and Safely
Jess Franco (VAMPYROS LESBOS) returned to the director's chair after a two year sabbatical to film this movie, which stars the Spanish punk group The , a touring group on a budget. The Barbys' van breaks down in the middle of nowhere, leaving the group stranded. A couple of the band members go off to find help and end up running into countess Von Fledermaus, a witch who feeds on the blood of young men. Franco, the king of trashy exploitation sleaze, takes a time honoured plot and adds a new twist, namely the musical numbers by the band, which are surprisingly good. In addition, as one expects with a Franco film, there are also numerous gruesome murders and a bevy of topless women, making this one of Franco's better efforts of the 1990s.
