The film, titled Snoop Dogg Presents Adventures of Tha Blue Carpet Treatment, will feature an animated version of the Long Beach, California rapper, as he encounters skirmishes, run-ins and situations while traveling through the streets of Southern California. "The movie will give you something to look at because when I was making this record I was real visual about it," Snoop Dogg said of the animated movie. “I had a cartoon mind while I was making it, so I just wanted to bring that to the light." Music for Adventures of Tha Blue Carpet will be taken from Tha Blue Carpet Treatment album. A number of rappers lend their voices to characters in the straight-to-DVD flick, including Nate Dogg, E-40, The Game, Cypress Hill member B-Real and comedians Mike Epps and Katt Williams.
