Huai xiao zi
Ma Son-yeh is young, handsome and playful boy but he is also a top expert in martial arts. Ma is disliked intensely by bad man Au, because Ma rescued Kao from Au's gangs and later on turned down Au's peaceful offer. Ma also has earned the enmity of the loan shark Sha brothers by meddling in the brother's business. The brothers lend money to local beauty Golden Phoenix's father but then send a thief to steal it. Ma gets back the money for the girl. Ma and Golden Phoenix fall in love to each other. After that, the girl's father is beaten up by the Sha brothers and the girl is imprisoned. Ma rescues both of them, but the old man dies eventually. The Shas and Au set up a trap for Ma and Kao. They first catch Ma in an ambush. When Ma insists he needs only 10 days of freedom to attend to his dying mother's last nights, the Shas agree only after Kao guarantees Ma's return in exchange of his life. But Ma is captured by Sha's men at the moment while he arrives home. The deadline is past. Kao kills himself. Golden Phoenix helps Ma to escape. An angry Ma comes to settle the accounts with the Shas and Au. He wins only after a series of fierce fights. Ma falls into the tender embrace of Golden Phoenix
