In this sequel to the mini-series, Lily must now find her father to save her newly found mother. Her mother, Judy went to Asia to interview the head of a revolutionary force. When she gets there, she is told that she was brought there so that they could ask for a million dollars ransom. Lily doesn't have that kind of money, so along with her mother's friends, Pagan and Maxine must find her father and ask him for the ransom. Her mother wrote three romans a clef about the man who's Lily's father. So each goes off to see the men that are depicted in Judy's stories.
