Pop Go the Sixties - Watch Legally and Safely

Pop Go the Sixties

Genre: Music
Countries: UK,
Release Date: December 31, 1969
Year: 1969
IMDb Rating:

The penultimate show to be screened on BBC1 in 1969 was this one off special, "Pop Go The Sixties." It was a co production with German TV company ZDF but made in London in the BBC Television Centre studios. It seems a rather fitting choice of programme for the end of the Sixties which of course had been the most dynamic, exciting and revolutionary era ever seen in music and cultural history. It was certainly a more fitting offering than what Independent TV screened as their final music show of the decade - "The Tennessee Ernie Ford Show" with special guests Harry Secombe and The Monkees' Davy Jones.

How to Watch Pop Go the Sixties Legally and Safely

If you want to stream Pop Go the Sixties through reputable and legal services, there are a few good options depending on where you are. Subscription platforms like HBO Max, Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+ sometimes carry Pop Go the Sixties films or related DC titles—though availability depends on your country.

If you’d rather not commit to a subscription, there are ad‑supported, free (but legal) platforms such as Tubi, Pluto TV, Peacock or Crackle (where available in your region) that occasionally host superhero films.

Lastly, don’t forget about library‑linked streaming options like Kanopy or Hoopla (if your library or university is registered), and official uploads by film distributors on YouTube—these can also give you legal access to classic movies.
