The Sand Grand Prix - Watch Legally and Safely
Sky Sports F1 has lined up a racing extravaganza this weekend with the channel set to broadcast not one but two grands prix on Sunday! In what we promise is an absolute viewing treat, Sky Sports F1's exclusively live coverage of this weekend's Abu Dhabi GP will include footage of the inaugural but rather fabulous 'Sand Grand Prix'. Filmed at the Big Red sand dune just outside Dubai, this season's 'twentieth race' featured two British World Champions and four F1 winners as our very own Damon Hill and Johnny Herbert took on Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in the Arabian desert. Driving dune buggies around a specially-prepared course, Johnny and Damon went head-to-head against the two Merc drivers, with the event following the format of a grand prix weekend with a Practice session followed by Qualifying and then the Race itself.
How to Watch The Sand Grand Prix Legally and Safely
If you want to stream The Sand Grand Prix through reputable and legal services, there are a few good options depending on where you are. Subscription platforms like HBO Max, Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+ sometimes carry The Sand Grand Prix films or related DC titles—though availability depends on your country.
If you’d rather not commit to a subscription, there are ad‑supported, free (but legal) platforms such as Tubi, Pluto TV, Peacock or Crackle (where available in your region) that occasionally host superhero films.
Lastly, don’t forget about library‑linked streaming options like Kanopy or Hoopla (if your library or university is registered), and official uploads by film distributors on YouTube—these can also give you legal access to classic movies.
