Release Date: October 04, 2008
Year: 2008
Runtime:1h 29min
IMDb Rating:

In the aftermath of making two commercially unsuccessful zombie films, director David J. Francis and producer Mike Masters hatch an ingenious scheme to craft the ultimate flesh-eating fright flick - shoot their latest zombie movie against the backdrop of the actual zombie apocalypse. They failed with Zombie Night, and dug themselves an even deeper hole with the disastrous Zombie Night 2. But now that the "real" zombie invasion is underway, Francis and Masters discover that the climate for their type of films has improved significantly. Even though zombie product has been temporarily outlawed. The filmmakers are certain that when the problem has been properly taken care of, demand for films featuring flesh-munching corpses will be at an all-time high. Besides, who needs a budget when you've got authentic zombies to act in your movie? As the old crew (or what's left of them) reunites to produce their true masterpiece, a group of documentary filmmakers captures the entire production from first take to martini shot. No doubt it won't be an easy task since actual zombies aren't too keen on taking direction, but should the filmmakers successfully avoid winding up on their own craft services table, they may wind up with a film they can truly be proud of.
