'Jumbo' Johnson hires Steve Singleton (and his boat, the "Seeker") to search for pearls on the coast of New Guinea. Johnson tricks Singleton, however, by supplying him with phony permits. Singleton loses his boat and is sentenced to jail. When released, Singleton teams up with boat-owners Daubrey and Sykes to find a downed plane and its cargo of gold bullion. While searching, they rescue one of the plane's passengers, Katherine Shelley, who's been captured by headhunters. Johnson now appears on the scene. Shelley guides him, Singleton, and the others to the underwater crash site. The gold is removed from the plane and now various schemes emerge as each man tries to gain control of it.

How to Watch Crosswinds Legally and Safely

If you want to stream Crosswinds through reputable and legal services, there are a few good options depending on where you are. Subscription platforms like HBO Max, Disney+, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Apple TV+ sometimes carry Crosswinds films or related DC titles—though availability depends on your country.

If you’d rather not commit to a subscription, there are ad‑supported, free (but legal) platforms such as Tubi, Pluto TV, Peacock or Crackle (where available in your region) that occasionally host superhero films.

Lastly, don’t forget about library‑linked streaming options like Kanopy or Hoopla (if your library or university is registered), and official uploads by film distributors on YouTube—these can also give you legal access to classic movies.
